Be patient

…long time no blog, hellå!

About three weeks ago, Standy lost his phone. When I visited him, we went all the places u could imagine to look for it.  I remember praying a silent prayer before we started looking, but it was nowhere to be found. Some weeks went by, and this weekend I visited Standy again. When we were sitting in his (awesome) car, clumsy as I am, I lost my phone down between the seat and the door. I picked it up, and beside it: There it was. U should have seen the look on Standy’s face:D<3

It’s kinda funny, how u can just pray to God, show some patience, and get what u pray for. And also, it’s not always a negative thing that I’m a bit clumsy :)

So how can i top that? I digg the blog abut back in the days. :) Happy b-day !:P

So, how about a physics lesson? Lately I’ve been learning about relative theory. Now, every time i try to explain the spesial relative theory to Thorbjørn, it always end up with ‘What?? Nooo.. I dont believe you. I know better and I say it isn’t so!’ I dont know if i’m bad at explaining it, of if Th acctually thinks he knows better than Einstein, But he never believes me when i tell him how it is. The truth is, the relative theory doesn’t match our instincts, therfor we don’t understand it. But your instincts is based on experience from a world where you see cars driving in 200 km/h tops, or maybe a plane at 500 km/h. The relative theory, however does only become relevnat when you reach a more considerable speed, closer til the speed of light.
Consider these rules:
t’ = gamma*(t – (u/c^2)*x) ,  x’ = gamma*(x – u*t) , gamma = 1/sqrt(1 – u^2/c^2) ,
(sqrt = squareroot, u = an objects speed, c = speed of light, t= time)
These equations tell us that time goes faster for a fastmoving object  than for one that stands still.  And that the length of an object in fast motion is shorter than for the same object standing still. A very funny bi-product of this is for example this: I stand on the ground, and you’re moving VERY fast, say in a rocket. We both observe the same insident, and I say they happend simultaniously, and you say they didn’t, and were both right! It is because of the relative theory that your GPS works. Amont other things.

The conclution is therefor: Everything is relative. The question is, relative to what?:D
