MSN Updates for all the world to see:)
by Standy December 8th, 2007In these harsh times of cooperate bullshit I\we hereby present the “Windows Live Messenger” (hereby called WLM) Guide:)
There are currently out one Beta Version of WLM 9.0 :
- Download WLM version 9.0 BETA -> Link to where i found it. I would not recommend users to use this version, simply because it’s BETA. (BETA is a kind of “Pre Release” NOT the final program itself. And it might be bugged, etc.)
- Download A-Patch for WLM 9.0 BETA -> Link to where i found it. You want this to clean out any disturbance in the application (ads, things you don’t usually use… etc).
- Download Default A-Patch settings file. (This is if you don’t know, or don’t care to read through the setup of A-Patch.)
- Download ALL-IN-ONE-FILE. This is *.zip file with all the above files in it. Just to make it even simpler for you.
And there is also a Final release of 8.5 (Recommended):
- Download WLM verison 8.5 -> Link to where i found it. Check out the HowTo Guide
- Download A-Patch for LM 8.5 – > Link to where i found it.
- Download Default A-Patch settings file.
- Download ALL-IN-ONE-FILE. This is *.zip file with all the above files in it. Just to make it even simpler for you.
Howto Guide on the “Windows Live Installer”:
1. Start the installer, click accept.
2. UnCheck “Live Search”, “MSN Home” and “Help improve Windows Live”. Click Install.
3. Mark the “Messenger (17 MB) – Keep in touch with friends and family – Instantly” line.
4. Click the “Add to installation” button.
5. WAIT untill the program is downloaded and installed.
6. When WLM is installed press the “close” button. Also close the Web page that pops up, nothing interesting.
7. Run the A-Patch (Optional, but advised)
All the files that i’ve put out for download have been tested and works. If you get some kind of error, you should check your previous moves, and might start from the beginning again. Good luck:)
