Friday Night Blogging, Don’t stop reading…

by emlodnaor No Comments »

This week I’ll hope you will take the time to find your favorite bible verse, and read what follows, often it’s just as blessing as the first.

I’ll try to give you an example:

John 3:16
Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.
Joh 3:18 He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
Joh 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil.
Joh 3:20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
Joh 3:21 But he who practices truth comes to the Light so that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

Have a Happy Sabbath and a blessed weekend.
Read all, don’t stop!

God Bless!

Friday Night Blogging, Faith experience

by emlodnaor 1 Comment »

Please read Exodus (2.Mosebok) Chapter 14, and then, come back here :)

Exodus 14

Look at how God makes the Israelites turn around, and do a different route then the one they chose them self, resulting in being vulnerable.
Trapped.
Between the Red Sea, and Pharaoh and his men.
The Israelites does what any normal person would do, they panic.
They get mad.
They get frustrated.
They wanted to give up.
However, Moses tells them to relax, witch was in my imagination quite impossible. How could Moses tell them to relax, to stand firm, when they where scared to death?

It’s interesting to notice Moses’ Background, and the Isriaelites background, to better understand their reactions.

The Israelites had been slaved for all their life, and their mentality follows that nature. It’s not unlikely that many of them had asked them self the question “where is god?” during times of slavery, quite understandably.

Moses on the other hand had never been enslaved and have had powerful experiences with God; the burning bush, the miracles before Pharaoh and more.

So, in this very moment, the Israelites had a Fear experience, and Moses had a Faith experience. Moses knew that God would do something to rescue them; it would make no sense to end it all here.

The appeal?
Have a little faith, don’t be scared, stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today.

You can’t stop a man without fear, if he fears nothing, nothing will stop him.
Be fearless for God, nothing will stop you.

God bless, and have a happy Sabbath :)

If you knew what i know, you’d probably become a hypochondriac. I can tell you a lot, by now, what and how many bacterias and viruses you have in your body. You can’t feel them? You say you’re not feeling sick? Oh, honey, they’re there. Everywhere. You’ve made your friend sick. Lots of times. You were never sick yourself, or you might even have been sick, you just didn’t notice it, but it’s your fault that he’s sick. And what can make me well, can make you sick! Follow my lead and throw dirt in your wounds. If it doesent kill you, it will only make you stronger. That’s just how vaccines work. Sensearley, lovingly and full of bakterias, have a dhiiirtyyy afternoon:) *Nursestudent*

Friday Night Blogging, Simplicity

2Co 11:3  But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the simplicity due to Christ.

I just read a story on facebook.. i found it funny, so here goes, it’s on norwegian, about a dansih doctor so… it goes in norwegian! sorry!:)
